A world without hope is bleak.
OSJ believes communities are safer when its citizens are made whole again.
OSJ wants to express our heartfelt thanks for the generous donation of $5,000 to honor Shane, a person who was on the Registry until he was taken from us too soon.
My son was on the Registry for many years and struggled with the hopelessness and despair that comes with it. All the love in the world wasn’t enough to keep him alive while dealing with the overreach of community supervision and the Registry.

One Standard of Justice (OSJ) is a volunteer-based civil rights organization committed to ensuring that persons accused or convicted of sexual offenses in Connecticut are treated constitutionally and fairly by the state before, during, and after their sentences. Our work encompasses prevention, early intervention when harm occurs, and healing and restoration for all.

Your donations will help us:
Fund programs that will safely return people who have committed a sexual offense to our communities.
OSJ will resume Fearless meetings in January, a program to help people on the Registry and their families deal with their trauma and isolation.
